Welcome to the The Research Cooperative Public Weblog 1 (PW1)
The purpose of this weblog is to promote use of the main Research Co-op website at
www.researchco-op.co.nz
This website is a meeting place for academic research writers, editors, translators, and proofreaders.
Although it is located in a New Zealand domain, the domain owner and site founder (Peter Matthews) works in Japan, and built this not-for- profit site after seeing how difficult it is for Japanese researchers to find affordable and reliable assistance when writing papers in languages other than Japanese.
This is a general problem for all researchers who attempt to publish in a second language, and also within all major research languages - for 'native' speakers and writers of English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and so on.
Please visit The Research Cooperative (www.researchco-op.co.nz) and try using our language-service forums.
The forums are designed to make it easy to post and find offers and requests for fully-acknowledged assistance with the writing of academic research papers and books. We do not support ghost-writing! Our aim is to help improve the quality of published academic research, with full acknowledgement of all practical and intellectual contributions.
